About us

Who We Are

The African Rural Interventions initiative (Africa-RII) was conceived to embody multiple strands of social impacts in rural and disadvantaged communities. The initiative prides itself as having the eye and mind for rural and disadvantaged communities such that the locals and their context are the central drivers of our solutions. AfRII recognises the need to restore the dignity of the vulnerable demography in communities of Africa.

Our Commitment

We are committed to good ethical practices and transparency in our interventions across communities and groups. Building a long-term and sustainable legacy of good work in all its ramifications is at the core of our practices.

Our Strength

Africa-RII prioritises research and broad-based consultation as a part of the strategy of inclusivity. We believe that self-reflexivity is critical to building solutions that are bottom-up approaches ( community-driven solutions) in outlook. Our core community of stakeholders are everyday people: diverse, inter-generational and cross-cultural – committed to social change and restoration of human dignity

Our Team

Our team-building culture is enriched by its openness to interdisciplinary experts driven by a passion for social change and continuously reflecting, charting an alternative space and approach to being in a fast-paced world of global capitalism.
