The Journey

The Africa Rural Intervention initiative (AfRII) was conceived to embody multiple
strands of social impacts in rural and disadvantaged communities. The initiative
prides itself as having the eye and mind for rural and disadvantaged communities
such that the locals and their context are the central drivers of our solutions. AfRII
recognizes the need to restore the dignity of the vulnerable demography in
communities of Africa. We see the well-being of the rural children, women and
youths as the only sustainable pathway to global food security, peace and
development.

Our Commitment is to ensure that people in rural and disadvantaged
communities can access opportunities to realize their aspirations.

Our Team is professional, dedicated, passionate and distinctively dynamic.

Our Strength comes from the multidisciplinary research-driven approaches to our
projects at all stages. AfRII is indeed timely and the call for action in a long-
neglected demography. We aim to harness the potentials inherent in a bottom-up
innovation, capacity building, policy engagement and the proper channelling of
investments to meet the development of the next generation of the rural
communities while emphasizing the value of human dignity.

Our Partners are individuals, organizations and government agencies who are
involved in direct interventions through community-based projects that priorities
human development in its entire ramification. We recognize the place of rural
women in achieving sustainable rural transformation by giving special attention
to girl child education and gender-related issues.
